We are really looking forward to being able to receive you as our guests. We have made an overview of all the changes we have made and what this would mean exactly for your holiday.
General rules in Austria
Since the measures can be changed by the government at any time, we recommend that you click here for the currently known measures in Austria.
Safely on holiday with Clofers
The government has allowed us to receive guests from within Austria and outside of Austria. The holiday parks of Clofers are set up spaciously and the chalets have a spacious garden with your own parking. This will ensure that you won’t have any contact with the fellow guests on our parks. Even with a maximum occupancy you will have enough space, and it is easy to keep distance between you and the other guests. We are thus very much looking forward to receiving you as our guest.
To make your holiday really complete, you of course can’t forget the local specialties in the multiple restaurants around the region. Sit on a terrace with a drink in hand and a delicious meal for a complete holiday feeling.
Reception
Personal interaction is for us really important and to be there for our guest is our number one priority. However, due to the corona virus we have decided to keep as much distance between us and our guests, like personal contact or during the potential forming of groups at the check-in and check-out, so that we can protect you and our workers.
Contactless check-in
Your key can be found at your chalet in a key safe, we will inform you on the day of arrival of where you can find the safe and what the code is. You will receive this information no later than 16.00, due to us preparing your chalet. Information about the region, facilities and everything regarding your stay can be found in our App, you can already download it via www.gastfreund.net/clofers. The deposit and the guest registration for the tourist tax can potentially be the only moment where personal contact would be required, but for this we also have the correct measures prepared. We thus want to ask you to pay your deposit through a SEPA Direct Debit. It is of course also possible to pay the deposit through PIN, credit card or cash.
Check-out
Before you leave, we will ask you to come to the reception to pay the tourist tax and the potential costs made by ordering for example bread, etc. Please keep in mind to keep distance. We prefer to check your chalet after you have left. If the deposit has been paid via PIN, credit card or cash, we will transfer the deposit after you have left to the given account number. The SEPA Direct Debit will be transferred back automatically.
Terms and conditions
Cancellation
As the situation around Corona is very restrictive for us, we offer our guests a free cancellation from 2 weeks before arrival if our accommodations are closed by government measures.
Rebooking
Our general terms and conditions are applicable when there are no travel restrictions. If there are restrictions due to the Corona virus in regard to traveling from and back to the departing country, having to travel through a certain country or here in Austria, then we can rebook your holiday to a later moment in the season or even to the same season next year based on the availability. This will also of course be applied if we suddenly have to close.

Was fantastic again! Last year we stayed a few days in one of the houses in Rattendorf and now a whole week. It was wonderful again! Beautiful houses, nice and spacious, clean and fully equipped. If you miss anything, the friendly staff will help you immediately. Also for all kinds of information and tips about the area you can go to them. Our daughter (9 years old) had a great time at the park and there is also plenty to do in the area. It must be fantastic in the winter as well, so I suspect that this will not be our last stay here.
