We enjoy 100 more sunshine hours per year here than anywhere else in Austria. Summers are warm, with lots of sunshine so you can enjoy a wonderful vacation outdoors. The water temperature in the PresseggerSee can reach 28 degrees in summer, so here you can go for a refreshing dip in the clear water.
The winters are cold which ensures good snow and lots of sunshine every year. Due to its convenient location, the slopes in the Nassfeld ski area are also very snow-sure.

We have chalets for both 4 and 6 people available in Rattendorf. In Jenig there are only chalets for up to 6 people. There is the possibility to place one extra bed at an additional cost of €150.00 per extra bed per stay(based on availability). Of course you can also book several chalets, we will then do our best to reserve chalets next to each other for you.

This is possible, please check the conditions that apply while making the reservation.
When do I have to pay for my vacation?
When do I have to pay for my vacation?
While booking, we require a deposit of 30% of the total amount payable. We would like to receive the remaining amount no later than 8 weeks before your stay. If you have made a booking that takes place within 8 weeks, you pay the total amount directly in 1 time. For an overview of all payment terms, please see our General Terms and Conditions - Clofers.

No, pets are not allowed for guests of our chalets.

What additional extras can I book?
What additional extras can I book?
Yes, you can certainly book extras to give the vacation just a little extra comfort. In summer we provide you with a BBQ for €35.00 per stay (including cleaning costs). For €7.50 you can request an extra towel change and a baby kit (baby chair, baby bed incl. linen) costs only €12.50 per stay. These can be additionally booked up to the day of arrival (based on availability) and paid for on location. If you would like to change the extras in an existing booking, please email reservierungen@clofers.com.
Will I receive a payment confirmation?

If you have paid, then it can be assumed that it has arrived safely with us. You will not receive an extra confirmation of this. If we find that you have not paid on time we will contact you automatically.

Once we have received the booking you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you have not heard from us after 24 hours, please contact us at reservierungen@clofers.com.

We will give you an option on a vacation with us with no obligation. We then put it on hold based on availability to give you time to think about it. If we do not hear from you within the specified time, the option will expire. If the option is accepted, we will send you a booking confirmation and you can start enjoying your vacation.

At our Clofers Base you can pay with debit card, credit card or cash. To take advantage of the opportunity to check in online, you can pay everything online and we offer multiple payment providers to make your payment neatly and securely.
What about the final cleaning?

Final cleaning is now included in our rental price.
There are no additional cleaning charges if the final inspection shows that the accommodation has been left broom clean.
We do ask that you leave the accommodation broom clean, take off the bed linen and dispose of the waste in the appropriate containers.
What are the arrival and departure days?

We are flexible and happy to think with you. Our changeover days are often on Saturday but understand that this is not ideal for everyone. Please ask about the possibilities by sending an email to office@clofers.com.
What do I do with the used sheets and towels?

We ask that you remove the sheets from the beds and place them in one pile in the bathroom of the residence along with the used towels.

Check-in is possible from 16:00. As soon as the accommodation is ready you will receive a message with the code to the key box. Once we have received the payment and guest list, you can proceed directly to the accommodation. Would you prefer to check in personally? That is possible from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at our Clofers Base, Obervellach 99, Hermagor.
Check-out on the day of departure is possible until 10:00 am.

On each made bed there is a towel package consisting of 2 towels, 1 small and 1 large towel. For an additional charge of €7.50 you can get a new towel set.

All manuals can be found in our Clofers app. If you still can't figure it out, you can always call us or send us a WhatsApp message. Of course you are also welcome at the reception. We will gladly take a look with you.
Can I smoke in the chalets?

Clofers has only smoke-free parks, this means that smoking is not allowed in the chalets.
What do the chalets look like?
What do the chalets look like?
All our chalets in Jenig are semi-detached. In Rattendorf we almost all have semi-detached chalets and there is also a bungalow available. This means that you almost always share your chalet with another person. There is no direct connection between the two parts, however, the gardens are adjacent which makes contact easy.
The layout of the chalets may vary but comfort and modern luxury are paramount everywhere. The equipment level of all chalets is the same.

We understand that this can happen to anyone. If anything has broken, we kindly ask that you report it to us at reception or via the Clofers app.

Yes, the beds are all made and ready for you the moment you arrive. This allows you to immediately enjoy your vacation and recover from the (long) car ride you made.

Of course. We do like a good cup of coffee ourselves and have placed a Nespresso machine in each chalet. You will also find a number of capsules which we offer free of charge. If you want to buy extra capsules, they are available at supermarkets in the area.

Yes indeed, each chalet has a parking space with room for as many as 2 cars.

We ask that you remove all linens from the beds and place them in the chalet under the stairs along with the towels.

What are the additional costs?
Additional costs consist of the tourist tax that we pay to the local government. In summer this is €2.70 p.p.p.n for everyone older than 17 years and in winter €2.70 p.p.p.n (subject to change). There may also be additional charges if, for example, our sandwich service is used.

All accommodation costs are included, that is, the cost of the stay including final cleaning, bed linen and towels. Tourist tax and other extras are not included in this price.

Groceries can be done in the supermarket in Hermagor (a 10-minute drive away) or in Kirchbach (a 5-minute drive away).

There are several providers in the area where you can rent bikes. We recommend renting bikes from Sölle in Tröpolach, we have had excellent experiences with them. There are several options available, so you can rent bikes for a half or full day and even choose an E-bike.

Yes, this is definitely possible. About 15 minutes drive from our parks you will find plenty of opportunities. Contact us and we can help you make an appointment.
What activities are there to do in the area?

Depending on the season, there are different activities to do. In winter, there are plenty of skiing and snowboarding opportunities for both beginners and advanced skiers. In addition, there are plenty of other opportunities.
In summer there are plenty of opportunities to go hiking, biking, climbing or go rafting. Feel free to ask about all the options at our reception or look in our app. We are happy to tell you more. Want to know more in advance ask us at office@clofers.com
About the park

We ask you to take your trash away to the containers when you leave. On the folder sent upon arrival you can see exactly where this is.
Please separate the waste where possible.

Wifi is available in each chalet. The explanation and passwords are ready for you in your chalet so you have them available immediately upon arrival. Wifi is also available in the Clofers Cafe "bei Reiter".

At Park Rattendorf we have two washing machines available. These can be used by all our guests for a fee of €6.00. You can buy a coin at the reception.

We offer chalets for 4 to 6 people. If you come with several families or groups we offer the possibility to rent several chalets. We do our best to make sure they are close together but this is always based on availability. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
