It all started in Jenig. In the winter season of 2018/2019 we opened with six luxury 2 under 1 roof chalets. We are very proud of this park in the region of Nassfeld, as the fascinating wood construction perfectly fits within its surroundings, and thus creating a unique and joyful environment for all. Our chalets are furnished for a maximum of 6 people. Going on holiday with a group but still want some privacy? Choose then for two or more chalets on the same park. The modern touch, big living room and the terras on the south side have everything that you are looking for.

Six authentic 2 under 1 roof log cobins, built from massive wooden logs. Enjoy the lovely climate and extra sun hours in the summer, and experience spectacular views of the snowy ski slopes in the winter. Nature, quietness and privacy are the characteristics that define this small park. The children can happily play in the park or can go explore the playground. Jenig has everything, a really sense of home, the amazing smell of wood and enough space to freely enjoy your holiday. Experience a real wooden chalet as it supposed to.

About the location

Our motto: Give yourself the time to relax!
Just 3 kilometers from the Millennium Express, the longest cable car of Austria, you will find Jenig. Our chalets face the south, and thus have an amazing view on the mountains of Nassfeld. So in the winter you are able to see the gorgeous white mountain tops, while in the summer the mountains will be full of green; the view is never the same. At the small park itself there is a lot of space, inside and outside, and in the chalets you will experience pure coziness. Furthermore, all the houses are self-sufficient and completely private, and when the sun is full up shining, you can relax on your own terras and balcony. Also every house has its own garden furniture set. The kids can freely play around in the playground, build a snowmen, or maybe they will go to the farm next door to take a look. Around 800 meters from Jenig you will find our Clofers Cafe “bei Reiter”. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal or drink. And when you decide you do not want to cook, come by and order a pizza or hamburger and take it back to you own chalet. Our chalets are easily reachable, so no difficult mountain roads. Thus you can make use of the accessible main roads.

Whether you are an active skier/snowboarder, cross country specialist, or a hiker that loves to explore the surroundings, every season there will be enough for you to explore and experience! Learn about the culinary skills from Alpen Adria, or go cross the border to Italy at the Nassfeld valley to experience the southern flair.

Summer in Carinthia
The summers here are long and are lovely qua climate, as you will have cool summer nights. During the day you will have the choice between a variety of activities that will surely suit everyone. Have a sneak peek at the farm next to the park, search up the excitement in the mountains, or take a refreshing dive in the lakes. Still wanna go out after dinner? The Old Dam on the Gail River is beautiful for the sunset, or get an ice cream at our park in Rattendorf.
The Pressegger See is a 15 minute drive. In the summer you can relax at or in the water with a temperature of up to 28 degrees, sound perfect right! There are multiple restaurants around the lake. On the lake itself you can do sailing, supping or even take a water bike. Prefer to be active without getting wet? A variety of bikes and hiking routes in the valley should fulfil your needs. Winter in Carinthia
In the winter, the region will offer you so many different possibilities to really enjoy the snow and sun. Due to the extra 100 sun hours in comparison to other regions is the chance high that you will enjoy your holiday here every season. Beginners, experienced skiers or families will always enjoy the challenges offered by the 110 kilometers of ski slopes in Nassfeld. In the region there is also a variety of ski schools with international ski instructors, so everyone can enjoy the snow and sun. At night go outside and enjoy the beautiful night sky while participating in our torch walk.
In the winter season the skibus will stop on the main road next to the park, and will drop you off by the entrance of the cable car. You rather want to go with car? No problem! You can park you car on the spacious parking lot, and the Piccolo Express will drop you off at the entrance.

In just a few minutes driving you will find a variety of supermarkets and shops in Hermagor, you can find everything here that you would need for your stay. Don’t want to cook yourself? No problem, you are always welcome in our Clofers Cafe “bei Reiter”, which can be found inside the park. Come sit on our terrace in the summer or have a nice glühwein after our torch walk in the winter.
