What is the weather like in Carinthia?
We enjoy a 100 more hours of sunshine per year here than elsewhere in Austria. The summers are warm, with lots of sun, you can thus easily enjoy a wonderful holiday outside. The temperature of the water in the PresseggerSee can reach 28 degrees in the summer, so you can go here for a refreshing dip in the clear water.
The winters are cold, which ensures good snow and lots of sun every year. Due to its favorable location, the slopes in the Nassfeld ski area are also very snow-sure.

Bookings

I have booked through the website, but have not received confirmation yet, what now?
As soon as we have received the booking, you will receive a confirmation through the mail. If you have not heard anything after 24 hours, please contact us via reservierungen@clofers.com.
When do I have to pay for my vacation?
While booking, we require a deposit of 30% of the total amount payable. We would like to receive the remaining amount no later than 8 weeks before your stay. If you have made a booking that takes place within 8 weeks, you pay the total amount directly in 1 time. For an overview of all payment terms, please see our General Terms and Conditions – Clofers.
Will I receive a payment confirmation?
If you have paid, it can be assumed that it has arrived. You will not receive any additional confirmation for this. If we find out that the payment has not been made on time, we will contact you directly.
Can I cancel my vacation?
This is possible, check the conditions that apply when making the reservation.
Which extras can I add, when and how can I change them?
Yes, you can certainly book extras to make the holiday that little bit better. In the summer, you can have a BBQ for €35.00 per stay (cleaning costs included), for €7.50 you can request an extra towel change and a baby set (baby chair and baby bed) only costs €12.50 per stay. These can be booked up to the day of arrival (based on availability) and paid on location. If you want to change the extras in an existing booking, please email reservierungen@clofers.com.
What is the maximum occupancy?
We have chalets for 4 and 6 persons available in Rattendorf. In Jenig there are only chalets for a maximum of 6 people. There is the possibility to add one extra bed at an additional cost of € 150.00 per bed per stay. You can also make a booking for more then 1 chalet. When possible we will place the booked chalets next to each other.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed in the chalets.
Can I change my booking?
We’d love to check for you what the possibilities are, email us at reservierungen@clofers.com or contact us via +4366488696950 and we will let you know!
Do you also offer an option?
We will give you an option on a holiday with us with no obligation. We will then put it on hold based on availability to give you time to think about it. If we do not hear from you within the specified time, the option will expire. If you confirm your option, we will send you a booking confirmation and you can start enjoying your holiday.

Arrival & Departure

What are the arrival and departure days?
We are flexible and like to help you out. Our changeover days are often on Saturday but we understand that this might not be ideal for everyone. So please ask for the possibilities by email to office@clofers.com.
What are the times for check-in and check-out?
Check-in is possible from 16:00. As soon as the accommodation is ready you will receive a message with the code to the key box.
Once we have received the payment and guest list, you can proceed directly to the accommodation. Would you prefer to check in personally? That is possible from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at our Clofers Base, Obervellach 99, Hermagor.

Check-out on the day of departure is possible until 10:00 am.
What about the final cleaning?
Final cleaning is now included in our rental price.

There are no additional cleaning charges if the final inspection shows that the accommodation has been left broom clean.
We do ask that you leave the accommodation broom clean, take off the bed linen and dispose of the waste in the appropriate containers.
What do I do with the used sheets and towels?
We ask that you remove the sheets from the beds and place them in one pile in the bathroom of the residence along with the used towels.
How can I pay at the park?
At our Clofers Base you can pay with debit card, credit card or cash. To take advantage of the opportunity to check in online, you can pay everything online and we offer multiple payment providers to make your payment neatly and securely.

What do the chalets look like?
All our chalets in Jenig are 2 under 1 roof. In Rattendorf we mostly have 2 under 1 roof chalets and there is also a bungalow available. This means that you almost always share your chalet with someone else. There is no direct connection between the two parts, but the gardens are adjacent, making contact easy.
The layout of the chalets may differ, but comfort and modern luxury will always be of the highest standards. The level of equipment in all chalets is the same.
Can I park my car next to chalet?
Of course, every chalet has there own parking with the space for 2 cars.
Can I smoke in the chalets?
Clofers only has non-smoking parks, which means that smoking is not allowed in the chalets.
Is there a coffeemachine?
Of course! We also like a nice cup of coffee and have placed a Nespresso machine in every chalet. You will also find a number of capsules that we offer for free. If you want to buy extra capsules, they are available in the supermarkets in the area.
How do the oven and dishwasher work?
All manuals can be found in the Clofers app. If you still can’t figure it out, you can always call us or send us a WhatsApp or just drop by the reception, we will be happy to look with you.
Is there bed linen available?
The beds are all made and ready for you when you arrive. This allows you to rest immediately and to recover from the (long) drive you have made.
Are towels also provided?
On each made bed there is a towel package consisting of 2 towels, 1 small and 1 large towel. For an additional charge of €7.50 you can get a new towel set.
I broke something, what now?
We understand that this can happen to anyone. If something is broken, we kindly ask you to report this to us at the reception or via the Clofers app.
What do I do if something doesn’t work?
We are available by phone at +43 66488696950, through our chat in the Clofers app or via our email reservierungen@clofers.com. During the opening hours of Clofers Cafe ‘bei Reiter’, our colleagues here are also available for any questions.

What is included in the price?
All accommodation costs are included, that is, the cost of the stay including final cleaning, bed linen and towels.
Tourist tax and other extras are not included in this price.
What are the additional costs?
Additional costs consist out of the tourist tax that we pay to the local government. In the summer it is €2.70 p.p.p.n. for everyone older than 17 years and in the winter it is €2.70 p.p.p.n. (may be subject to changes). In addition, costs may be added if our bread service is used for example.

What activities are there to do in the area?
Depending on the season, there are different activities to do. In winter there is ample skiing and snowboarding for both beginners and advanced. In addition, other snow-related activities are possible.
In the summer there are many options for hiking, cycling, climbing or rafting. Please ask for all the options at our reception. We are happy to tell you more. If you want to know more now, please ask us via office@clofers.com
Can I rent bicycles?
There are several shops in the area where you can rent bicycles. We recommend renting bicycles from Sölle in Tröpolach, we have lots of experience with them. There are several options available, for example you can rent bicycles for a half or full day, and you even get the choice to go for an E-bike.
Is horse riding possible nearby?
Yes, this is certainly possible. You will find plenty of options in about a 15-minute drive from our parks. Contact us and we can help you make an appointment.
Where can I do my groceries?
Shopping can be done in the supermarkets in Hermagor (10 minutes drive away) or in Kirchbach (5 minutes drive away).

About the park

Is there Wifi at the park?
Wifi is available in every chalet. The instructions and passwords are ready for you in your chalet so that you have them available immediately upon arrival. Wifi is also available in the Clofers Cafe “bei Reiter”.
Is there a shop in the park?
Yes, we have our own small supermarket in Rattendorf. Here you can find a number of things such as oil, salt, etc. If you need fresh product we are happy to tell you where you can find the supermarkets near by. Please note that these are not open on Sundays.
Are there washing facilities at the park?
At our Parc Rattendorf we have two washing machines available for all our guests. We ask you to pay € 6.00 and you will receive a coin.
What should I do with my garbage?
We ask you to take your trash away to the containers when you leave. On the folder sent upon arrival you can see exactly where this is.

Please separate the waste where possible.

Do you rent to larger groups?
We offer chalets for 4 to 6 people. If you come with several families or groups, we suggest that you rent several chalets. We do our best to ensure that they are close to each other, but this is always based on availability. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
